The Caterpillar

Little caterpillar was quietly eating breakfast when a slight breeze blew his leaf with him on it right down to the ground below......wheeeeeeee....
safe and sound - on the ground.

Caterpillar looked way up high to see where his home was.
The nectarine tree was not his home.

The pretty yellow chrysanthemums were not his home.

The tall and slender violets were very friendly and nodded their heads...
but that was not his home.

The big white climber was way up high,
but that was not his home.

The fuzzy peaches looked cosy,
but they were not his home.

Ruby red tomatoes liked company,
but they were not his home.

The lemon tree was very near, so caterpillar climbed and climbed and found his home...

and his next meal waiting for him.

Quaily

Quaily

The quail she sits upon her eggs
Her feathers all a-flutter
Be they boys or be they girls
To her it does not matter

Spot

Spot

Spot was a stink bug who lived in a garden.
He was a young bug who loved to climb lemon trees.

Spot was called Spot because he had a spot on his back.
He sucked on the juice of the baby lemons on the tree.
This was good for Spot but not so good for the baby lemons.
Spot liked to explore.

He went up and down the tree
and up and down the leaves
and over and under...

and round and around.
Spot went around and around so much that he became quite giddy and he fell off the lemon tree.
The lady of the garden had been watching and picked up Spot and put him back on the tree in the sun.
